Burnadean Sliger

Mrs. Burnadean Sliger of Telford, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 14 2020, age 89, at Four Oaks Nursing Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee.

Mrs. Sliger was a native of Washington County and the daughter of the late Burnie and Roxy Runion Arrowood. She was also preceded in death by her late husband N.B. “Buck” Sliger, and brothers, James Ervin Arrowood and Eugene “Peewee “Arrowood.

Burnadean enjoyed NASCAR with family and friends. She enjoyed cooking at her home, her restaurant, or wherever she was employed.

She was a member of New Victory Church of Telford, Tennessee.

She was active in the community helping anyone in need especially when she could cook them a home cooked meal. She loved traveling with her husband.

She was survived by Roy and Jenny Ruth Arrowood, Marion “Gus “and Martha Arrowood, Sam and Jeane Arrowood, JessieMay Arrowood Dyer and many nephews and nieces.

No funeral services will be scheduled at this time.

A special thanks to the employees a Four Oaks Nursing Center for the care that she received.

Burnadean and I were classmates at Lamar, graduating in 1949. I remember her well even though we had lost touch over the years. My sympathy to the family on her passing.
