Mrs. Marilyn Jane Dutton Shockley, age 73, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Shockley was born in Los Angeles, California and the daughter of the late James A. Dutton and Virginia VanSant Frances. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Jessica Whitehead.
She attended Johnson City Baptist Temple.
Mrs. Shockley enjoyed Native American Gatherings and liked fishing and camping. She was a member of ETOID.
Survivors include her husband, David Shockley, Jonesborough; children, Brian Taylor (Kathleen), Joseph Tinker (Rhonda), Sheryl Widner (Kevin) and Dawn Taylor (Stephen Reed); eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; and several nephews and nieces.
The family request friends come by Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home to sign the register and view Mrs. Shockley Friday, March 27, 2020 from 2:00-5:00 pm. There will not be a formal visitation due to the coronavirus restrictions.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, March 30, 2020 at Mountain Home National Cemetery (cemetery requires this be limited to immediate family members only).

Just seen where Marilyn passed. I remember when she was with Jerry tinker. Always loved her. My prayers go out you you all. May she rip .
