Mr. Randy Jack “Birddog” Breeden, age 63, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Breeden was born in Johnson City and the son of the late Jack Henry & Ruby Louise Bennett Breeden.
He was a United States Air Force Veteran, also served in Army National Guard. He served during Desert Storm. He was a member of the VFW. He retired from the VA as a Nursing Assistant.
Mr. Breeden was baptized in the Christian faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo.
Survivors include a son, Scottie Lee Breeden, Johnson City; brother, Ronnie G. Breeden (Susie), Jonesborough; and a dog, “Harley”; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, February 21, 2020 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.

My sincere sympathy to all Randy’s family. I worked with him at the VA in the late 80s and always knew the shift would go ok with Randy around. His friendly attitude made staff and patients feel better. His laugh was contagious. I know he will surely be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.
