Miss Emma Jean Arrowood, age 82, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Agape Nursing & Rehab Center.
Miss Arrowood was born in Washington County and the daughter of the late George H. & Ethel Whaley Arrowood. She was also preceded in death by a brother J.H. Arrowood, brother-in-law, James Kilby.
She was a member of Bethel Church of Christ, where she served as secretary and treasurer for many years.
Miss Arrowood enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.
Survivors include three sisters, Anna Lee Kilby, Bonnie Kate South (Robert) and Brenda Louise Bacon (Houston); and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Bethel Church of Christ with Minister Terry Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, February 21, 2020 at Bethesda Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
