Mr. Floyd Stacy Rash, age 79, Jonesborough, went to be with Jesus Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Rash was born in Washington County and the son of the late Jay & Bernice Pratt Rash.
Stacy was a member of Chestnut Grove Union Church.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne. He was a charter member of Hales Ruritan Club and VFW. He loved going to Senior Citizens, playing Rook and watching NASCAR.
He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Jean Peters Rash, Jonesborough; son, Denver Rash; daughter, April Estepp; grandchildren, Cierra, Gaige and Kayla; great-grandson, Kayden; sister, Ruby McNeal; step-daughters, Michele Slagle and Tina Street; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Monday, February 10, 2020 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Gaskins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Monday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 1:00 pm Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Austin Cole, Lewis Hulse, Gage Slage, Gary Lorencen, Don Morgan, Gary Stewart and Donald Jobe. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Sherfey, John Perry, Orlis Francis, Donnie Peters and Keith Owens.
