Mr. Robert Leon Laws, age 77, Chuckey, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Laws was born in Washington County and the son of the late Lee & Lula Mae Edwards Laws. He was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Louise Milhorn, Donald Jean Laws, Marvin Laws and Sandra Miller.
He was a welder from Accurate Machine in Johnson City. He enjoyed going to flea markets and rummage sales. He loved baking cakes and most of all loved people.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Robin & Shawn Jenkins, Fall Branch; sons, Curtis Laws and Eric Laws; grandchildren, Natalie Swanner (David), Logan Jenkins, Caleb laws (Amberly), and Shona Laws; great-grandchildren, Jacob Swanner, Noah Swanner and Laynee Laws; brothers and sisters, Virginia Hinkle, Henry Laws and Linda Watts; several nephews and nieces; and special friend, Shawn Broyles.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Shawn Broyles and Mrs. Teresa Broyles officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Logan Jenkins, David Swanner, Joseph Laws, Clayton Laws and Jerry Bowman.
