Mr. Weldon Miller, 84, Jonesborough passed away Friday, January 3, 2020, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Miller was born in Washington County son of the late Harry and Martha Rhudy Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Billy Joe Carver and a brother, James L. Rhudy.
Weldon was a member of New Hope Church of The Brethren. He retired from Leon-farenbach and later retired from E Z Paniter, he also worked for Washington County Solid Waste.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years Barbara Miller; son, Joey Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Randy Hall; grandchildren, Heather Hall, Zach Hall, and Taylor Miller; great grandchild, Axen Street; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and Shirley Spire, Jim and June McCracken, and Dale and Penny McCracken ; sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Mullins, and Sue and Bobby Hannabas; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the nurses on the 2300 wing of Johnson City Medical Center and to Doctor Morris.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Monday, January 6, 2020 at New Hope Church of The Brethren with Pastor John Moore and Calvin Bennett officiating. The body will be at the church an hour prior to service.
Graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Hall, Michael Corby, Jim McCracken, Dale, McCracken, Bobby Hannabas, and Roger Gillin.
