Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Malone Bailey, age 81, Jonesborough, passed away at her residence Friday December 13, 2019.
Mrs. Bailey was a native of Carter County, and the daughter of the late Hugh and Effie Fox Malone. She was also preceded in death by her two daughters, Judy Arrowood Guthrie and Cheri M. Arrowood.
Mrs. Bailey retired from B and S Slaughter House.
Survivors include her husband James “Jim” Bailey, two sons, Jerry G. Bailey, and Jimmy Bailey (Cathy Malone); grandchildren, Hobie J. Arrowood and Taylor Bailey; step-grandchildren Alisa and Kiki; and several special friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bailey will be held 3:00PM Monday, December 16, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 to 3:00PM prior to the services.
Graveside services will follow at New Victory United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Holman, Matt Carmichael, Bobby Bennett, Joey Malone, Craig Bailey, and Chase Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joey Hulse-Sutphin, Billy Joe Malone, Gary McKee, and Terry McKee.
