Teddy Lewis Ervin

Mr. Teddy Lewis Ervin, age 74, Johnson City, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Ervin was born in Washington County and the son of the late Benjamin Franklin & Adelene Reed Ervin. He was also preceded in death by a son, Andrew Ervin.
He was prior owner of Jonesboro Nursing Home and Four Oaks Healthcare Center. He was a member of Jonesborough Civitan Club, a gun collector and sports enthusiast.
Survivors include former wife, Suzanne Rich and husband Dennis, Johnson City; daughter, Ann-Catherine Ervin, Johnson City; two sons, Dick Ervin (Laura), Signal Mountain, TN and Christopher Ervin, Johnson City; two grandchildren, Georgia Ann Ervin and Tad Ervin; brothers, Farrell Ervin (Pat) and Jerry Ervin, all of Jonesborough; and many nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, November 1, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

EULOGIES & CONDOLENCES
Having known Ted for 53 years since he first dated my
sister (Suzanne) has been a wonderful experience
knowing he was not just a brother-in-law but a generous
and loving friend. I will miss him.
Ted was one my favorite people. Very smart and interesting. I treasure all the hours we spent talking about sports, WW II and whatever other important stuff came to mind. I will truly miss him.
