Judy Ann Whitson, age 71, Erwin, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Center on Aging & Health.
Mrs. Whitson was born in Erwin and the daughter of Daisy Doan Banner, of Erwin and the late Charlie Banner. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Leanna Miller.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Whitson retired from Texas Instruments.
In addition to her mother, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janice & Randall Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Joey & Theresa Vance; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary & Eddie Constable, Connie & Steve Whaley, Lois Fleenor and Debbie Doan; brothers and sisters-in-law, James & Mildred Banner, Roger & Hope Banner, Clyde Banner, Ronnie & Sandy Banner and Grover & Hey-Mi Banner; grandchildren, Cameron Miller, Cody Miller, Heather Bailey, Kelly Peterson and Jordan Vance; great-grandchildren, Rilee & Connor Peterson; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff of Center on Aging & Health, they were more than caregivers they were her extended family and she loved them dearly.
Mrs. Whitson donated her body to the Quillen College of Medicine. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Janice I am so sorry to hear this. I had not seen this till today. I will always remember your mother coming in to visit my mother and always saying such wonderful prayers for her. The Center will never be the same without her. Please know that I am sending you hugs and prayers.
