Mrs. Anna Louise Mitchell, age 82, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Life Care Center of Gray.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Washington County, daughter of the late Bernie and Grace Bacon McKee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. Mitchell and a sister, Juanita Mashburn.
Mrs. Mitchell attended Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church
She was the former principal at Leesburg Elementary After retiring from teaching, she worked several years for J.C. Penney and the Jonesborough Insurance Agency.
She loved to crochet.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Greg Harrell (Sue) of Johnson City; daughter, Debbie Hill (Scott) of Fall Branch; sisters Velma McKee of Jonesborough and Doris Clark (John) of Telford; grandchildren Ashley Harrell, Austin Harrell, Natasha Aguilar (Amon) and Bradley Hill; and great grandchildren Alana and Audrey Aguilar.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 11, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Perry Cleek officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 â€" 2:00 PM.
Graveside services will follow the funeral at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
