Norma Ruth Bailey, age 82, Johnson City, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, September 18, 2019 following a brief illness.
Norma was born in Washington County and the daughter of the late Garrett D. & Rose Garvin Bailey. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James G. Bailey, Sr.
She lived her entire life in Washington County. She was a 1955 graduate of Lamar High School. Norma worked for over 25 years for Powell Construction Co., Inc.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ann & Doug Hoilman, Johnson City; granddaughter, Tonya Jo Mink; three great-grandchildren, Katlin Mink Tilson, Nathan Douglas Mink and Jonah Bradley Mink; one great-great grandson, Carson Tilson; special friend and niece, Donna Anita Bailey; nieces and nephews, Jim Bailey & family, Wayne Deloach, Darrell Bailey & family, Howard Bailey & family, and Denise Bailey Hoss & family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shannon Courtner and Sandra Williams for their love, friendship and many visits.
Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at New Victory Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Shannon Courtner officiating.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.

I knew Norma for well over twenty years. Nothing but kindness
and support from a great friend and coworker. Rest In Peace
my friend. Folly Beach and I lost one of our best supporters.
