Mrs. Marie Feathers, age 95, Chuckey, died Saturday Aug. 31, 2019 at home peacefully with beautiful smile on her face.
She was a Washington county native and the daughter of the late Claude and Ethel Blevins Runion. She was also preceded in death her husband Samuel “SE” Feathers (1992).
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Feathers was a member of New Salem Baptist Church, she loved her church. She had attended and loved other churches families including Union Christian Church, Harvest Time Christian Church, and many others.
Her favorite bible verse was John 3:16.
Survivors include one son, Emory Wade Feathers, one daughter and son-in-law, Dollie Marie and Randy Davis, all of the home; one sister, Novada Runion, two brothers Jack Runion, Wade and his wife Helen Runion, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Saturday September 14, 2019 11:00 AM, with Pastor Craig Ponder officiating. At the families request Mrs. Feathers was cremated and will be buried with her husband at Union Christian Church Cemetery.
