Mrs. Betty J. Davis, age 83, Jonesborough, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 7, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Washington County and the daughter of the late Emery and Julie Price Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Rogers.
Mrs. Davis was a member of Jonesborough Baptist Church.
She loved spending time with her family at Lakewood Campground in Myrtle Beach.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Deadrick Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Christine Davis; daughter and son-in-law, Ira and Anita Grant; and several loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside services follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
