Mrs. Patricia Lynn Hollifield, age 71, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at her residences.
Mrs. Hollifield was born in Johnson City and the daughter of the late James McPherson & Mary Caroline May Clark.
She was a member of Knob Creek Church of the Brethren.
Mrs. Hollified was a Registered Nurse and worked at Northside Hospital for twenty-five years, Washington County Detention Center for ten years and NHC Home Health Care for seven years.
Survivors include her husband, Harold Dean Hollifield; children, Richard Lee Jenkins (Tammy D. Jenkins), Angela Lynn Barnett and Texas Eddie Dulaney, Jr. (Jason Schafer); step-children, Harold D. Hollifield, Jr., Curtis Hollifield, Angel Harris and Rick Hollifield; sister, Margaret “Maggie” Shumate (Lewis “Tad”); grandsons, Jacob Wayne Barnett and Jesse Levi Jenkins; granddaughter, Brittany Page Barnett; great-grandchildren, L.J. Jeter, Jr., Abigale Jeter, Kaylin Jeter, Nora Jenkins, Laken Barnett and Jayli Mae Barnett; niece, Lori Ann Jenkins; a nephew, Michael Fields; and several step-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Amedisys Hospice for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ponder officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, September 6, 2019 at Washington County Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Barnett, Jason Schafer, Mike Fields, Austin Fields, Jesse Jenkins, L.J. Jeter and Ralph Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. David Freeman, Jim Harness and Rick Kennedy.
