Mrs. Roxana Sliger Lowe, age 90, Jonesborough, passed away peacefully Friday, August 30, 2019.
Roxie was born in Washington County, TN and the daughter of the late Enoch and Amanda Sliger. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Smith Lowe, the love of her life.
Roxie graduated from Lamar High School. She retired from the UT Agricultural Extension Office of Washington County. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Broadmore Senior living for their love and care of Roxie for the past five years.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick & Peggy Lowe, Johnson City and Bob & Karen Lowe, Jonesborough; grandchildren, Jessica Leu (David), Matt Lowe (Lindy), Miranda Caldwell (Shane), Derrick Lowe (Sarah), Sarah Banner (Dom), Shaun Whaley (Stephanie), Andi Dernovshek (Steven) and Ashlee Whaley; great-grandchildren, A’darius Banner, Emmarae Bradley, Amaris Bradley, Lennox Banner, Luke Lowe, Maggie Lowe, Lucy Lowe, Levi Leu, Delaney Leu, Eva Caldwell, Zoe Caldwell, Nora Whaley, and Lyra Lowe.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday September 3, 2019 8:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted Wednesday September 4, 2019 11:00AM at Onks Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dr. David Leu, Shane Caldwell, Dom Banner, Matt Lowe, Derrick Lowe, Steven Dernovshek, and Shaun Whaley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Onks Cemetery Fund c/o Vera Lowe 4141 Old Jonesborough Rd. Jonesborough, TN 37659.

Thank you to the Lowe family for allowing us to care for Roxy and be a part of her life. She was a feisty woman who kept us on own toes and reminded us every day to be proud of what we do! We are missing her already.
