Mr. Larry “Joe” Polston, age 77, Telford, TN passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Polston was born in Smalltown, KY and the son of the late Clayborn Lee & Lena Belle Epperson Polston. He was also preceded in death by his wife on July 8, 2019, Brenda Polston, two grandchildren, Amanda Polston and Holly Polston and eleven brothers and sisters.
He was a member of Living Word Church of God in Gray.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Burton (Erica), Mt. Vernon, IL; two sons, Joey Polston (Amanda) Buena Vista, GA and Elkan Polston (Candy), Telford; grandchildren, Destyni Polston, Kaitlyn Polston, Skylar Shoemaker, Trey Shoemaker, Hayley Smith and Megan Polston.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 pm Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Living Word Church of God with Pastor Steve Guinn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30 pm Wednesday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at 2:30 pm Wednesday at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
