Mr. George Wilbur Myers, 68, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at his residence.
George was born in Middletown, Ohio, son of the late Wilbur and Bernice Myers. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Campbell Myers.
George was an active member of Jonesborough United Methodist Church
George worked at A.K. Steel in Middletown, OH for 31 years. He was a volunteer firefighter.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Myers, Jonesborough; son, Jeremy Myers of Middletown, Ohio; and grandchildren, Brooke Myers, Jeremy Myers Jr., and Grace Myers.
A Celebration of Life for George will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2019 at Jonesborough United Methodist Church with Reverend Karen Lane officiating.
George was such a good man. He will always
be remembered fondly and with love.
My prayers are with you Debbie. George was a great
man who did so much for the church. He will be
missed.

Ms. Myers,
So sorry to hear about George. He was always a
joy to talk to and such a nice guy. We always
enjoyed seeing you guys walking in the
neighborhood, or working in the yard when we
drove home. He will be greatly missed.
