Mrs. Jeanette Hixson, age 89, Greeneville, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Four Oaks Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Hixson was born in Greene County, TN and the daughter of the late Guy Mitchell, Sr. & Bessie Goodman Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Minnis Hixson, a son, Dennis Hixson, nine brothers and three sisters.
She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Hixson loved baking, cooking and reading.
Survivors include a daughter, Tina Bailey (John); a sister, Patricia Ricker; grandsons, Adam Knight, Christopher Hixson and Joshua Hixson; granddaughter, Karen Bryant (Chad); two great-grandchildren, Jacob Bryant and Chadlyn Bryant; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Four Oaks Healthcare Center.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:30 am Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Pastor Tammy Greene officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 am Saturday prior to the service.
