Mr. Norman Truett Stonecypher, age 90, Limestone, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Stonecypher was born in Waynesburg Ky on October 6, 1928 and the son of the late Maynard Roscoe & Gertrude Helen Claunch Stonecypher.
He was a United State Army Veteran having served with the Military Police. He was a member of the Arcana Lodge #489 F&AM for 50 years.
Mr. Stonecypher retired from Magnavox.
Other members of his family, also deceased, include his brother Ben Stonecypher.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Browning Stonecypher, Limestone; daughter and son-in-law, Heather S. & Rick Hawkins; grandchildren, Brendan T. Hawkins and Kaitlyn S. Hawkins; sister Janet Pauline Stonecypher; sister-in-Law Wilda Stonecypher; nieces and nephews, Helen Martin (Eddie), Ben Stonecypher (Alice), Rebecca Mitchell (Mark) and Ricky Stonecypher.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, June 28, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Donna Waddle officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Friday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Urbana Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Archer, Jeff Williams, Thomas Dotson, Randy Blevins, Benny Stonecypher, Eddie Martin.
