Chris Landers, age 25, Telford, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019.
Chris was born December 8, 1993 in Greeneville, TN.
Chris always had a smile on his face. He loved to camp, sunbath, play video games, watch TV, and watch the ducks.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Stella Phillips, and several aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jeff and Robin Landers; brother, Jeffrey Landers; sister, Beverly Landers, grandparents, Doug and Patsy Landers; first cousins, Douglas Landers and family, Luke Landers and family, Brandon Landers and family, Priscilla Byrd and family, Eddie Byrd and family, Jason Byrd and family, and Tabitha Norton; special friend, Ronald Dykes; special camping friends, Mike and Donna Jennings; and special gaming friend, K.D. Cagle.
A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held 8:00 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 �" 8:00 PM prior to the service.

I met Chris online when he was 13 years old. We became friends. Two of our characters were married in game so he referred to me as his game wife. We finally met in person in 2017 when the Landers family came to visit for a weekend. It was wonderful to get to know them all personally and to actually hug Chris. He had the sweetest chuckle and I will miss it so much. I know he is walking all over Heaven now and looking down on his family with love. God bless all of you in this time of sorrow. I wish I could be there. I love you all.

I went to high school with Chris. He was one of my close friends, we had all the same classes and lunch period. He was always smiling, laughing, joking, or offering me a listening ear whenever I needed one. I haven't spoken to him in years unfortunately and I can't believe he's gone. I'll be praying for his family and other friends during this difficult time. He was such a happy soul and I'm glad that he can finally walk again with Jesus.
