Bertha Gray Keys, 91, of Saint Stephens Church, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14th 2019.
She is the wife of the late Earl Keys of Richmond, Virginia and is survived by daughters: Nanette Callahan of Chuckey, Tennessee, Rachel Kraus and her husband Robert of Sandston, Virginia, and Stephanie Moore and her husband Stanley of Saint Stephens Church, Virginia; sons: Chris Keys and his wife Ruth of Houston, Texas, and James E. Keys Jr of Manassas, Virginia, and son-in-law Russell Kingrey of Goochland, Virginia; grandchildren Heath, David and Stephen Callahan, James Holloman, Richard and Robbie Kraus, Kyle and Kaleb Moore; great grandchildren: Maddie Holloman, Dawson and Kaleb Callahan; and two sisters, Alma Lee Squibb and Velma Barnes.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert H. Gray & Alva Murr Gray, two sons, Dana Earl and Kim Gray Keys and a daughter, April Keys Kingrey.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday April 25th at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
Her funeral service will be held 2-3:00 PM, Friday April 26th at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Dan King officiating, internment will follow at the Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The American Heart Association, 3101 Browns Mill Rd. Suite 6-321 Johnson City, TN 37604.
I’m sorry about the passing of your mother. My father, Daryl Hyder, said your father, Earl, was one of his best friends in high school. He has shared many memories of him.

always kind to us. We admired how she loved the
Lord. Her sweet spirit will be missed. I know we
