Mr. Calvin Kenneth Fox, age 94, Limestone, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Fox was born in Washington County and the son of the late Rollie & Gladys Henley Fox. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Fox Broyles, Evelyn Fox Broyles, and Barbara Fox Jenkins.
He attended Grace Brethren Church in Limestone.
Mr. Fox was a United States World War II Navy Veteran who served his country in the Pacific Theater. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and the Fox/Lime Spreading Service.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Elizabeth Jewell Ferguson Fox, Limestone; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny & Sandra Fox; daughter and son-in-law Kathy & Tim Carson; a son and daughter-in-law Scott & Kandi Fox; grandchildren, Claudia Haws (Ben), Laura Ore (Thomas), Michael Fox, Jonathan Fox (Jill), Samantha Fox and Sydney Fox; great-grandchildren, Emery Haws, Karigan Haws, Raleigh Thomas Ore, Emma Ore, Harper Fox and Kennedy Fox; sisters, Lorene Fox Anderson, Virginia Fox Caudle, Freda Fox Jones, Joyce Fox Guinn (Curtis); and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers, Deanna & Dakota and to Amedisys Home Health and Hospice for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Blevins and Pastor Bob Skeen officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the children’s choir or the Awana Program at Grace Brethren Church, 3337 Hwy. 11-E, Limestone, TN. 37681.
