Mrs. Cynthia Ann “Tina” Hensley, age 64, Greeneville, formerly of Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at her residence.
Mrs. Hensley was native of Rossville, Georgia and the daughter of the late Ernest Dillard & Josephine Durham Burns. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Hensley, step-father, Donald Burn, and three brothers, Richard Dillard, Bobby Burns and Billy Burns.
She was of the Christian faith. She never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. She loved her family, especially her great granddaughter, Aliyonna Cole, she was the light of her life. She enjoyed listening to music, especially gospel and oldies.
Survivors include children and spouses, Joy Hensley, Roger & Shaunita Hensley, Robbie & Wendy Hensley and Lesia Hensley; grandchildren, Shai Ann Cole, Dakota Cole (Hannah), Jordan Hensley and Dante Whitten; sister and brother-in-law, Sue & Bob Lower; brother and sister-in-law, Larry & Tammy Burns; very special friend, John Thompson; family friend, Carol Woodfin; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Home Health Care (PT, OT, Nursing Staff) of Greeneville and Caris Hospice Care for the wonderful care that was given to Mrs. Hensley.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with her sister, Sue Lower and Pastor Robert Lower officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00 pm Thursday prior to the service and other times at the home of the son, 608 Spring Hill Rd. Johnson City. Interment services will follow at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
