Mr. Dwight Metcalfe, age 50, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Metcalfe was born in Washington County and the son of Betty Anderson Metcalfe, Jonesborough and the late Willard Bruce Metcalfe.
He attended Jonesborough United Methodist Church.
Mr. Metcalfe enjoyed being a firefighter. He volunteered at several area fire departments.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two sisters, Carla Bunton (Charles) and Becky Fugate (Randy); three aunts, Carolyn Brown, Shirley Holmes (Garner) and Janice Maxson; nephews and nieces, Dana Rodriguez, Cheyenne MacMillan, Emily Rodriguez, Ronnie Maxson, Charles Bunton, III, Dustin Gracen Bunton and Christopher Fugate; and several cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, March 22, 2019 at Metcalfe Family Cemetery. A visitation will follow at 213 Patton Dr. Jonesborough, TN.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
