Mrs. Edith Morris, age 94, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Morris was born in Henderson, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Robert Alley & Mabel Hetzel. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James Alley.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Morris loved the Kentucky Derby, horses and the University of Kentucky.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Gail & Wilson Painter, Piney Flats; grandsons, Michael Painter and wife Kelly and Jason Todd Painter and wife Beth; great-grandchildren, Jack Painter, Molly Painter and Lena Painter; nephew & nieces, Sue, Pat and Danny.
Graveside services will be conducted 3:00 pm Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Mt. Wesley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
