Mrs. Ester Brown, age 84, Telford, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mrs. Brown was born in Washington County and the late Jim & Nody Hayes. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Walter Brown and a daughter, Dorothy Depriest.
She loved to garden, feeding the birds and most of all her grandchildren.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby & Theresa Brown; two daughters and son-in-law, Kathy & Tommy Miller and Janice Kennedy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Friday, March 8, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm Friday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scotty Brown, Tim Carathers, Aaron Carathers, Wesley Brown, Timothy Depriest and Matt Ledford.
