Harold Wayne Boswell, 87, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at The Waters of Johnson City.
Mr. Boswell was born in Morvan, N.C., son of the late Charles and Virginia Gathings Boswell. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Clinton Boswell and Bill Boswell.
Mr. Boswell served The Lord and His people as a Church of Christ Minister for 60 years. He started Church’s of Christ in Japan, California, New York, and Limestone and Fall Branch, TN.
He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 68 years, Wilma Boswell; his sons Jerry Boswell (Johnnie) and Jim Boswell (Valerie); grandchildren Drs. Jerri Boswell Rose (Johnie) and William Boswell (Erika); great grandchildren Anna Rose, Colin Rose, Claire Boswell, and Mabel Boswell; and sister, Caroline Cornett (Gene).
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 10:45 AM Friday, March 1, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Anyone who wants to go in procession should be at Dillow-Taylor by 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Fall Branch Church of Christ, 480 Fordtown Road, Fall Branch, TN 37656.
