Mr. Kay Morley, age 84, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Morley was born in Carter County and the son of the late Ernest P. & Nell Campbell Morley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Chandler Stauss Morley and two sisters, Trula Archer and Vera Hale.
Mr. Morley was a member of Albright United Methodist Church.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a Supervisor for Thomas Industries and E.Z. Painter. He was a member of the Limestone Ruritan.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Luster Morley, Limestone; two sisters, June Higgins, Jonesborough and Bonnie Schenkl, Florence, SC; and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Ballad Healthcare and Hospice, Indian
Path Outpatient Radiology, Gastroenterologist of Johnson City and First Choice Family Medicine for their wonderful loving care.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:45 am Monday, December 31, 2108 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Pastor Roy Fowler officiating. Military honors will be provided by Carter County Honor Guard.

May the Lord bless you and hold you in the hollow of His
hand, Nancy, as time and the memories of your 20 wonderful
years give you comfort. He was not only hilarious and a
terrific tease but a tender-hearted, sweet-spirited man. I'll
never forget the 'piggies trim' trips to Asbury for brother
Strauss. I know Helen and Strauss really appreciated all you
both did for them. As I said to Kay on our 'sprinkle trip' for
my Mother," If I don't see you again; I'll see you again, and
we'll catch up." Eternity is stretching out before him and we'll
see him again. The comfort of eternity is great comfort,
indeed. Thanks for the note. I'll be praying for your peace in

I worked with Kay during the Thomas Industries
days. Kay was always a kind and jolly soul. I
remember how much he enjoyed playing Santa at the
company Christmas parties. Sending prayers for

Nathaly Santana, the little neighbor girl from Fort Myers,
The first time I met Kay, he made me welcomed like I was part
of the family. Wishing the family peace and abundant love in
this time of loss.

Nancy, There are no words to tell you how sorry we
were to learn of Kay's passing. You two were like
2 pieces of a puzzle that fit together perfectly.
I will always remember teasing him about his hush
puppy recipe,and giving the Preacher's a hard time
at revival. He was truly one of a kind and he will
be missed greatly.
Aunt Nancy I am so sorry... Uncle Kay will be missed so much
but will never be forgotten... Rest In Peace Uncle Kay... I love
you so much..
I was deeply saddened to hear of Kay's passing. I worked with Kay back in the Thomas Industries days ( 1971 -89 ). He was a fine friend. He even made home-made wine for a few company bus trips to UT football games in Knoxville. I hadn't seen him for some time, but I'm sure he will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to the family.
I am very sad to hear of Kay's passing. I worked
with him at E.Z. Paintr for 16 years. I loved to
hear him tell his stories, jokes. Especially the
one about the haired lip man! He made me laugh
many times. Kay was a good man. I send my

Nancy...we are so sorry for the loss of our
precious Kay. Never saw the man that he was not
joking, aggravating or just basically having a
good time. You guys were such a wonderful pair
and truly belonged together. Kay was a friend
to all and we are so thankful that we could call
him our friend. Remember all the good times you
all shared, which we know were many, and we know
most everyone you talk to will have a story to
share about him. Cherish all those memories.
