Mr. Jackie Wayne Brumit, age 70, Limestone, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Brumit was born in Nashville, TN and son of the late Herman Edward Brumit, Sr. & Ethel Mayberry Trenary Brumit.
Mr. Brumit was a United States Marie Corp Veteran.
He restored Classic Cars with his son, which included a 56 Chevy and a 63 Chevy Impala.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jack W. Brumit, II & Paula Brumit, Pegram, TN; three brothers, Bobby Brumit, Charley Brumit and Kenny Brumit; two sisters, Helen Eaves and June Brumit; his beloved dog, “Lacy Brumit”; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 1:45 pm Friday, December 14, 2018 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. The family will meet at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home at 11:30 am Friday to visit and go in procession to the cemetery.
