I worked in the library at ETSU during the time
Deloris worked in the bookstore and I saw her

Carolene, I remember your sweet Momma so fondly! She kept
me laughing those years in the Culp Center! Praying for you
and Edd and the family as you adjust to this tremendous life
change. You will never quit missing her, but there will come a
time when memories will just bring a warm smile instead of the
acute ache you feel now...Sally

Deloris and Jug and their 3 children were our
very first neighbors when we moved in across the
street from them. She and Jug and their family
were so good to us. Deloris used to cut our
oldest son's hair when he was a toddler. She
would put him on her kitchen counter and I would
hold him while she cut his hair. We had so much
fun with the Holleys. Deloris loved to laugh.
I will never ever forget the sound of her
laughter and how she loved people. I learned a
lot from Deloris. She will be missed by the many
who knew her. I know she has a special place in
Heaven. We will see you again, sweet Deloris.
