Mr. Vestal Miller, Telford, passed away Saturday, October, 6, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Miller was born April 20, 1930 in Washington County, son of the late John and Edith Miller. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was also preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Miller.
Mr. Miller attended New Victory United Methodist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army deployed to Germany.
Vestal loved to watch the Atlanta Braves and Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Sarah Kate Ferguson Miller; daughters, Brenda Daniels (Bobby), Marie Wright (Derald), and Lisa Duncan (Ray); grandchildren Katie Tinker (Robbie), Brad Williams (Tori), April Arp (Rick), Colin Wright, Brody Duncan, and Braxton Duncan (Brooklyn); great grandchildren Waylon, Conway, Cole, and Eslyn.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Dr. Lester Morelock will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:30 â€" 7:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at New Victory United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
