Mrs. Charlene Ruth Cooper Turner, 60, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Four Oaks Healthcare Center.
Mrs. Turner was born in Camden, New Jersey, daughter of the late Charles and Edith Cooper. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Turner.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Mark Cooper; Nancy Cooper; nephews Michael and Cameron Cooper; step-daughter, Courtnee Hoyle; sisters-in-law, Barbara Gouge and Jamie Turner; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and very special friends, Debi Apathy and Tami Jobe.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to any humane society of your choice.

You are still missed Char, both you and Jack. Good people. I think of you often.
I only knew Charlene from the internet but I still feel we were close friends. I will miss her very much and offer my deepest sympathy to Mark and the rest of her family and to Tami who I knew was her best friend.
