Mrs. Charlotte Darlene Howard Barnett, age 76, Erwin, entered into her heavenly home on Thursday, September 27, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Barnett was born in Erwin and the daughter of the late Rhonda & Virginia Yates Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, J.C. Barnett, an infant daughter, Jenney Barnett, granddaughter, Crystal Barnett, two sisters and four brothers.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of Embreeville First Freewill Baptist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Kay & Steve Loville; six sons and daughters-in-laws, Rev. Doran & Teresa Barnett, Terry & Marsha Barnett, Tony Barnett, Richie & Nioka Barnett, Eddie & Crystal Barnett, Chucky & Sara Barnett; eighteen grandchildren, Gabbie Bradley, Samuel Loville, Joshua Barnett, April Peterson, Maggie Norris, Meghann Blackman, Logan, Jonathan, Richie, Chris, Kourtney, Eddie Jr., Racheal, Brittany, Michael, Brandon, Kelsie, Jacob Barnett; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Sunday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Doran Barnett, Terry Barnett, Tony Barnett, Eddie Barnett, Chucky Barnett and Jacob Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Barnett, Richie Barnett, Chris Barnett, Eddie Barnett Jr., Logan Barnett and Jonathan Barnett.
