Mrs. Anna Graves, age 87, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018 at The Courtyard Senior Living in Johnson City.
Mrs. Graves was born in Washington County and the daughter of the late Walter Lee Loyd, Sr. & Anna Mae Stafford Loyd. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oliver C. Graves, brothers, Kenneth L. Loyd, Larry D. Loyd, and Walter L. Loyd, Jr, one sister, Brenda L. Hays and a brother-in-law, Warren Graves.
She was a member of Telford United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Graves retired as an Administrative Secretary for American Road Builders Association, Washington, DC.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Daryl W. & Carol Loyd and Jerry L. & Linda Loyd: brother-in-law, Donald Graves (Ann); and several nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Courtyard Senior Living for exceptional care given to Anna.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Vaughn and Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
