Mr. Bobby G. Grubbs, age 75, Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mr. Grubbs was born in Washington County and the son of the late Charlie & Iva Lee Grubbs. He was also preceded in death by his loving daughter, Cynthia Grubbs and a brother, Albert Grubbs.
He retired from Armstrong Construction after 50 years of service and also worked at Freedom Hall Civic Center.
Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Mary Grubbs, Johnson City; brother, Jimmy Grubbs (Shirley); brother-in-law, Russell Blevins (Meg); two nieces, Amanda Bailey and Alice Blevins; two nephews, Austin Blevins and Shane Grubbs.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday, August 31, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Monte Vista Burial Park.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.

you in awhile but I always think about you every time I came
up thru Asbury. I will certainly keep you & the family in my
