Mr. Bobby Joe Bailey, age 76, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mr. Bailey was born in Washington County and the son of the late Avery & Birdie Hensley Bailey. He was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Mr. Bailey retired from Burton Rubber Company. He loved to fish.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Virginia Bailey, Jonesborough; one son and daughter-in-law, David & Pam Bailey, Limestone; grandchildren, Jodie, Dylana, Miley and Emily; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Tayla and Karalee; four sisters, Jean Steinman, Geraldine Bailey, Sue Banner and Ruth Swatzell; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 pm Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bill Ponder officiating. Friends may view and sign the register Saturday from 12:00-5:00 pm or Sunday, prior to the graveside, at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
