Ms. Susan “Nana” Peterson, 67, Johnson City, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Ms. Peterson was born in Johnson City and the daughter of the late Hale Tate & Roxie Blackburn Berry. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Lynn Rhea.
She was a member of Buffalo Valley Christian Church. She loved the Lord, her family and church family. She was a loving mother and grandmother and always put others before herself.
Survivors include three children, Jeff DePriest, Sherri Holder and Ricky Tate; five grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Rachelle Roark, Randall Holder II, Starlitt Carver and Sierra Tate; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Carol Lewis; two brothers, David Wilson and Chris Woodward; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Roland Whittemore officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 10:00 am Friday, June 22, 2018 at Carr Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
