Mrs. Ada Bernice Hughes Lane Jackson, age 94, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Four Oaks Health Care Center.
Mrs. Jackson was born in Jonesborough and the daughter of the late, Dolphus F. & Mary Ellen Vines Hughes. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Ray Lane, Jr, four brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Jackson, Jonesborough; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lou Ann & Jeffery Hawkins, Texarkana, TX , Evelyn “Mimi” & Kenneth Van Dyke, Unicoi, Jo Lynn Lane, Anthem, AZ; two step-children, Marsha Lafevers and husband, Jerry and Mike Jackson and wife Kim, all of Jonesborough; grandchildren, Joseph Hawkins, Luke Hawkins, Grace Phelps, Mary Beth Hawkins, Erin Keene, Ryan Van Dyke, Brandon Peterson and Tyler Peterson; four step-grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Taylor and Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, June 15, 2018 at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
