Mrs. Patsy Sutphin, age 84, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Sutphin was born in Washington County and the daughter of the late L.A. & Dorothea Kay Knight Palmer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George William Sutphin.
She was a member of Bowmantown Baptist Church.
Mrs. Sutphin was a talented Seamstress and owned a floral shop.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Ann Sutphin; two sons, Darrell Sutphin (Cindy) and Farrell Sutphin (Nancy); grandchildren, Carrie Sutphin, Cristie Ryans (Nick) and George William “Bill” Sutphin (Jane Anne); great-grandchildren, Colton Ryans, Cason Ryans, Harrison Sutphin and Bennett Sutphin; brother, Paige Palmer (Linda); sister, Delores Mettler; nephews, Chris Palmer and Shannon Mettler; special care-givers, Linda Holt-Jennings, Aaron Lindsey and Amedisys Hospice.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, June 8, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor John Moore officiating.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
