Shirley Ann Errico

Shirley Ann Errico, 72, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on June 2, 2018 after a long struggle with lung cancer. She was born on May 31, 1946 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Ruth and William Coon.
In the late 60’s, Shirley moved to Tucson, Arizona where she met her husband, Michael Errico. They were married for 48 years.
She worked in banking, helped out in various elementary schools, enjoyed traveling, and cherished sharing time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Johnson (Jonathan), a son, Brian Errico (Leigh Ann), seven grandchildren, a sister, Beverly McDonald, and several nieces and nephews.
According to her wishes, her remains were donated to James H. Quillen College of Medicine for educational purposes. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Niswonger Children’s Hospital Foundation.

It truly saddens me to hear that Shirley has joined the Lord
upstairs, but she lived a beautiful life. I will always cherish the
memories made with her when I was a little kid, whether she
was taking me to get ice cream, painting my finger nails or
making me laugh with her contagious laugh. This world will
never be the same without her. Sending thoughts and prayers

To the Errico’s: I have no words to describe my feelings of
how much I cherished your dearlty beloved. She was truly an
inspiration to me as I grew into a mature woman. She was
always uplifting and a barrel of fun to be around. I am going to
miss her a ton. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
