Mrs. Fran Reed, of the Liberty Hill Community, Limestone, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 13, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Rutledge, III. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and will be dearly missed by everyone whose heart she touched.
She retired from Winn-Dixie after 30 years of service. She was an avid cat lover, Frisky & Toby which she loved with all her heart.
She is survived by her husband, Connie of 36 years; one son, Gary and special daughter-in-law, Samantha; one daughter, Wendy Rutledge; two sisters, Nancy Grennom and Bobbie Norris; special son-in-law, Eddie Speer; special grandson, Gage Speer; special granddaughters, Makailyn Tyner, Ady Reed, Siera Speer and fiancé Eric; special friends, Tony & Karen Hance & family, Jan Kirkpatrick, Lawrence & Betty Shelton, Shari Giersch and Annie Stowe.
The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health and the ICU staff of Franklin Wood Community Hospital for their wonderful care.
Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Liberty Hill Cemetery with Pastor Steve Hux officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill James, Carl Garber, Buster Scott, Alan Spivey, Charlie Mills, Calvin Shelton and T.J. Reed.

She definitely grew on me. She was
something else and I will never forget her
