Mr. Robert William “Bob” Yaple from Jonesborough passed April 28, 2018 at the NHC Healthcare Center.
Mr. Yaple was born May 28, 1931 to Graydon and Beatrice Yaple in upstate New York.
A proud veteran of the United States Army
Predeceased by wife Nancy Bezona of more than 50 years
Survived by his sons Robert Craig (Tracie) Yaple of Lynnwood, WA and Michael (Terry) Yaple of Liverpool, NY
Bob was an avid antique car and railroad enthusiast and spent his retirement years restoring classic train cars with his extended family at the Watauga Valley Railroad Historical Society.
Private services and interment will be held at a later date in Afton, NY.
