Mr. Carl Palagyi, 91, Jonesborough, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Brookdale in Johnson City.
Mr. Palagyi was a native of Ohio, the son of the late John and Ester Palagyi. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Betty Althen Palagyi, one brother and one sister.
He was a US Navy Veteran serving our country in World War II.
Mr. Palagyi was of the Lutheran faith but more recently had become a member of the church he was attending, Lighthouse Baptist Church in Jonesborough.
Survivors include two sons Brian Palagyi wife Beverly, Paul Palagyi wife Pam, one daughter Kim Keen husband Jim, and six grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Palagyi will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Paul Palagyi and Pastor Perry Cleek officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 6 till 7pm prior to the service.
