James A. Hinkle, 77, Limestone, passed away Saturday march 10, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center, Greeneville, TN.
He loved spending time at McDonalds, Greeneville Walmart, talking with his friends and people watching.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years Virginia Hinkle, three daughters, Ruth Harrison, Jamie Cody (Marshall), Melissa Wilkinson (Walter Shoonmaker) all of Greeneville, one step-daughter Teresa Broyles (Shawn) Limestone; beloved grandchildren, Joshua Hinkle, D.J. Batts Jr, Nathan and Shane Harrison, Daulton Brotherton, Caitelyn Rose, Prestyn and Rylee Rawlings, Shlby Sweed, Hailee Wilkinson, Bailey and Nicholas Shoonmaker; great grandchild, Mayson Brotherton; and special friend Bobby Laws.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Roby Bowman Hinkle, his former wife Imogene Hinkle, one daughter, Anita Hinkle.
Graveside service will be Tuesday March 13, 2018 11:00AM at Flag Branch Cemetery, Greeneville with Rev. Shawn Broyles Officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons and friends.
