Mrs. Ruth Garland, age 72, Jonesborough, passed away Monday February 26, 2018 at her residence.
Mrs. Garland was born in Shady Valley, Tn to the late John and Nola Adams McCarron.
Survivors include her husband, Ken Garland, two daughters, Elisha Snyder, FL, and Heather and Tim Sansbury II, Ohio, one step-daughter, Shannon Long; two grandchildren, Geoffrey Snyder and Penelope Jo Sansbury; and several nieces and nephews.
Ruth wanted to thank her loving husband Ken for taking care of her and always standing by her side, and to her daughters and step-daughter may God continue to bless you all. The family wanted to say a special thank you to Phyllis Hughes, Tina Singleton, Tim and Nancy Sansbury, and the Washington County EMS.
Graveside service will be Friday March 2, 2018 2:30 PM at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN with Pastor Perry Cleek officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the graveside at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
