Mr. David Gourley, age 56, Greeneville, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Gourley was born in Greene County and son of the late William R. “Bill” & Joye Aiken Gourley. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Gourley
Survivors include daughters, Candace Cole and husband Billy, Greeneville and Shontel` Dobner; brother and sister-in-law, Dan & Jan Gourley, Myrtle Beach, SC; stepsons, Dustin Shelton and Keith Shelton; grandchildren Austin Cole, Kobe Dobner, and Braley Dobner; cousin, Jamie Gourley and special cousin Gene Keys; several nephews; and friends Brian Carver, Tim Kilday, Brandon Pounders, Gerald Law and many others.
The family extends special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and Angie Wampler, Kim Turner, and Tracy and Dr. Patel and staff for their loving care.
A memorial service for Mr. Gourley will be held 8:00 PM, Monday, February 26, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home in Jonesborough with Pastor Parker Street officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the funeral home to cover expenses.

Candace and Shontel: Thinking of you and sending our
deepest love and sympathy. We have so many memories of
your Dad through the years. He always had a great
personality and a big smile. Never saw him not smiling. Our
prayers are with you today and in the days ahead. May God

of him that I'll always cherish. Even though we
hadn't seen each other in a long time, I always

I worked with David at Plus Mark and saw him quite
a lot at Mountain View. I never saw him without a
big smile. He was always talking about his
daughters and grandchildren. Praying for all of
David's Family. God Bless You All.
