Mrs. Sara Ann Rambo, 81, Jonesborough, passed away Monday February 19, 2018 at her residence with her husband at her side.
She was a native of Washington County, the daughter of the late Jake and Annie Casey Phillips. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother James “Buddy” Phillips and four sisters, Lucille Phillips, Carrie Lee Holtsclaw, Bess Nelson, and Mary Ferguson.
Sara was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed life, family, and friends.
She was a member of Eden United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bud Rambo, Jonesborough; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Karen Rambo and Rusty & Linda Rambo; two grandchildren, Richard Leland Rambo and Chad Allen Rambo; one sister, Violet McKee; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Eden Cemetery with Pastor Ed Blair and grandson Chad Rambo officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Eden Cemetery 1620 Mill Springs Rd. Jonesborough, TN 37659.
We are so very sorry for your loss. We look forward to the
fulfillment of every detail of God’s promise in Revelation 21:4,
which says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes,
and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor
pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
