Mrs. Jamye Leigh Carr, 53, Jonesborough, passed away unexpectedly Saturday February 3, 2018 while in Manassas, Va.
Mrs. Carr was a native of Lexington, KY and the daughter of Mattie Lue Faircloth (Frankie) and the late Charles Kennth Puckett.
Jamye touched many lives both professionally and personally, she served the Lord with all her heart, she loved her family immeasurably.
Survivors include her husband Cyrus Robert Carr, two sons Cody Sandlin McQueen (Amanda Kay), Matthew Evan McQueen (Jennifer Nicole), one daughter Tamara Jane Briest (Thomas), step-son Travis Gaines (Meredith), step-daughter Lydia Mae Carr, grandchildren, Madyson Gaines, Cameron McQueen, Madison McQueen, Lilykan Briest, Oliver McQueen, Indy Briest, Thea McQueen, Aubrey McQueen, and Winnie Lue Briest; sister Charlene Long (Glen) brothers Charles Puckett II (Gail), Timothy Puckett (Jennifer) Kenneth Puckett (Hannah), Justin Calvert (Angela) and Richard Puckett; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Friday February 9, 2018 7:00 PM at Grace Fellowship Church with Rich Riesz and Titus O’Bryant officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service.

Hello to Jamye’s Family,
I have been looking for My Dear School Friend and Neighbor
Jamye Puckett... We Lost Touch Some Years Ago and I Just
found a messanger not from Leigh Carr from a few years ago?
While looking I found this Memorial. To my sorrow it seems
this might very well be about my beloved childhood friend. The
Jamye I knew had a sister. Charlene (Charlie) and Some
Brothers with the same names. And I think a Mom named
Mattie though I only ever called her Mrs. Puckett.
If this Memorial is for Dear Jamye “Puckett My Childhood
FriendI just want to say how much I loved her & how often I
thought of fun mom The in our childhood over these long years
since we’ve been in touch. Many times I looked on FaceBook
