There are so many good memories of you and Jan at Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and just having a gathering at our house. I'm so glad we continued to share these moments after Jan left us. You were not only a dear friend but family. I will miss our messaging on facebook and all the phone calls back and forth. You were such a nice person and loved by us all. We will miss you so much but one day we'll all be together again, just as You and Jan are now. I can only imagine your reunion with her in Heaven. Really gonna miss you, our buddy !!!

We are so very sorry for your loss! Feelings of despair can be overwhelming at this time. We pray that “the Father of tender mercies, and the God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4) will give you peace of mind and comfort in your hearts. Acts 24:15 says that “there is going to be a resurrection” and Job 14:14, 15 shows that God has a longing to resurrect his friends! We are so grateful that our loving God looks forward, as much as we do, to reuniting us with our loved ones.

Leroy,I'll always remember your laugh and the way you communicated.I can still remember all the places you and Janice lived in the Quad Cities. I loved your little dog Rastus. I know it must've been hard after Janice passed but now you two are together again. I'm glad I got to go to breakfast with you last time I was in Johnson City. We are a blessed family to have so many wonderful Aunts,Uncles,Cousins and Friends. For now, as the song says, go rest high upon that mountain.

Growing up Aunt Jan and Uncle Leroy were part of our immediate family in Illinois. I will never forget his baptism into babysitting us four kids while Jan and our parents attended a funeral in Tennessee. Biscuits took on a new look and meaning. We shared a lot of family dinners and memories and Uncle Leroy will be missed. My prayers and condolences are sent to his famiiy.
